5th level half-celestial / half-human cleric (but with an extra feat at the fifth level from the metamagic, item creation, spell stuff or turning stuff list) with access to good and war domain (longsword is favored weapon of my deity)

1st feat: Improved Initative

i dont know what other feats i should take, after my calculation i have 3 more feats left (one of it from the list above)

with a serious hit to your casterlevel you are forced into the self-buffer, i would opt for extend/persistant and maybe some item creation since you will have quite some gold in comparison to your available spells.

read the BoED about celestial spells, not sure if you can cast them as an half-celestial, maybe :embarrass

anyhow, good luck with your build

forgot to note that the char will have 24 wis at that level (DM granted me a med of faith with a +4 wisdom bonus)

mhm i have to think about the meta magic stuff

ah before i forget it again, i got level adjustment +2 for the half-celestial (no DR, no SR, no Wings, only the bonus spells, appearence change and abillity mods)

Extend spell / persistent spell is a must have

With high charisma i suggest power attack / divine might.

Girdle spell helps to fill your caster level gap so your buffs are more resistant to dispelling.

Improved toughness (complete warrior) helps to fill the hitpoints gap caused by your level adjustment.

Improved initiative seems a waste to me.

girdle spell? never heard of it :)

in wich book is persistant spell?

Persistent Spell can be found in Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting and Girdle Spell can be found in Magic of Faerūn.

Girdle Spell effectively increases the DC by one for purposes of dispel checks of all your spells.

girding spell seems fine with me

but the persistant is way to high for my current level (i would need lvl 5 (bless / prot vs ...) or lvl 6 (abillity mod spells) spell slots to use it realy good) so it seems i would have 4 more lvls time till i choose that feat

so till now it is extend spell, girding spell, improved toughness and something else (improved initiative or something)

and i would like to know if there are any realy good prcs before the hierophant (yeah i plan to survive for a long long time with that char) and if in wich book are they?

Sacred Exorcist, Divine Oracle and Contemplative are all great PrCs from Defenders of the Faith.

Divine Disciple is nice as well (FRCS)

In Faiths and Pantheons are also some good PrCs, Auspician and Windwalker come to my mind.

the PrCs from faith and pantheon arent very good for me, cause we play Dragonlance (also i have all books open for sources that are not specified to one god that is not existant in the DL campaign)

the Sacred Exorcist looks very nice, i think i will take that PrC when i reach 7th level cleric

thanks for the help so far, if someone else has some nice ideas i am open to nearly anything :)

Oh you play Dragonlance ! Then you also MUST have a look at this thread (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=98226&highlight=dragon+lance)

thanks for the link but my problem after all is that i would like to keep my spellcasting power as high as possible and so there are not many builds in that thread that would help me

i dont want to become a knight of solamnia cause i dont see that it fits to my char (half-celestials are more or less loners so they would not bind them self to the knightly order)

i will try if i could talk my DM into the Paladin Prestige Class (yeah i know that paladins arent allowed in DL but we dont do it that way) from the Unearthed Arcana (very nice progression to my casting level and spells) and if not i will stick to the sacred exorcist till i can take Contemplative or Hierophant levels

Spell Casting Prodigy is nice.. it's in FRCS but it's not specific to any Faerun god or anything, you might be able to convince your DM to use it in DL.

Description is here:

so i will take:

Spellcasting Prodigy (no prob to convince the gm, cause not faerun specific)
extend spell
girding spell
improved initiative (i think i will stick with this, i dont think that i need the extra one hp per level from improved toughness cause to the +4 constitution from the half-celestial)
after that i think:
craft wand (lvl 6) (nice cure light wounds or other wands)
persistant spell (lvl 9)
craft wondrous item (lvl 10)

i now got the whole creation stuff for my char:
36 points to distribute that would make my char:
18 Str (14 Base + 4 from Half-Celestial)
16 Dex (14 Base + 2 from Half-Celestial)
18 Con (14 Base + 4 from Half-Celestial)
16 Int (14 Base + 2 from Half-Celestial)
24 Wis (15 Base + 4 from Half-Celestial + 1 from lvl 4 + 4 from my magic item)
16 Cha (12 Base + 4 from Half-Celestial)

this build ok or are there better sugestions?
