| rilem06-22-05, 12:10 PM | WotC recently posted a compendium of all "3.5" PrCs, with the intent of providing an easy reference for players looking to find an obscure class. Here's the link PrC Index (http://wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/lists/prc) And, although the list clearly says 3.5, it includes all the 3.0 PrCs that were never updated — Devoted Defender, Tribal Protector, Justicar of Taiia, Akodo Champion, etc. I'm mentioning this because, despite WotC's early insistence that 3.0 and 3.5 are compatible, some people don't acknowledge this and complain when C/O builds use older classes. So this inclusion just serves as a reminder that they're still kosher. |
| Part-Human206-22-05, 01:27 PM | 3.0 PrCs are okay as long as the DM reviews it with an eye for changed rules. At that point I'm sure many DMs will change brokeness not related to rule changes. |

| Neb Rybel06-22-05, 06:23 PM | Yeah, that list isn't the 3.5 PrC list. No where on it does "3.5" appear in any form (not even as "revised 3rd edition"). It is just a Prestige Class Index that lists every Prestige Class they have published and its source. If you ready the first three classes on it, you would note that Acolyte of the Skin appears twice. With its latest revision first. |
| Funny Slaughter06-22-05, 06:57 PM | thats a page some of my friends may never see. i mean they know that i have all this stuff in my head, if they see how much it really is they will charge me guilty with not speaking japanese fluently or something like this... andhow, its a nice list and should be added to the library maybe. gs Funny |
| rilem06-22-05, 09:43 PM | Yeah, that list isn't the 3.5 PrC list. No where on it does "3.5" appear in any form (not even as "revised 3rd edition"). Eh, it said 3.5 this morning. Guess the cranks got to somebody. The version I linked to only had the most up-to-date version (Mage of the Arcane Order was from CA only, for example). This just makes things more confusing for people. For shame, WotCs. |
| Ashlan06-22-05, 10:15 PM | Perhaps the link you were intending to post was this. (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/dnd/20050110x) Ash |
| rilem06-22-05, 10:27 PM | Thanks for that link, I've been looking for that for a while. But I got the right one — as I mentioned, WotC edited the page after I linked to it. Dynamic media and all that. That updated/not-updated link needs some work, too — it leaves out things like the Divine Seeker (FRCS updated in PGF), as well as 3.5 classes that were updated again (Black Flame Zealot, UE, which is technically a 3.5 book). |
