The levels of Rogue are mixed in to keep skills up in Disable Device and Search. Cross classing has a lower cap than class skills, and I want to keep these skills up high.

Chaotic good human:

01.Rogue1 (Improved Initiative, Iron Will)
02.Barbarian1 (+10' move)
03.Ranger 1 (Ambi/TWF, Weapon Focus (deity favored))
04.Fighter 1 (Quick Draw)
05.Barbarian 2 (Uncanny Dodge (Dex to AC)
06.Rogue 2 (Evasion, Power Attack)
07.Holy Liberator1
08.HL2
09.HL3 (Divine Might)
10.Ftr2 (Imp TWF)
11.Rog3 (Uncanny Dodge (cannot be flanked)
12.Divine Champion1 (Endurance)
13.Templar1 (Mettle, Free Weapon Spec (deity favored))
14.DivChp2 (Dodge)
15.Sorcerer1 (Greater TWF)
16.Rog4
17.DivChp3
18.DivChp4(Mobility, Spring Attack)
19.DivChp5
20.Rog5

+17 BAB
Fort +18 Will +11 Ref +9

Evasion, Mettle, 40' move, Two levels of Uncanny Dodge, Maxed Search and Disable Device, Detect Evil, Immune to Charm and Compulsions, Charisma to Saves, Lay on Hands, Smites, Divne Wrath, some Divine Spells, minor Sorcerer utility spells, TWF, 3d6 SA dice, and Spring Attack.

Why the level of Sorcerer? Power Attack + Spring Attack + Smitings + True Strike with a reach weapon/2H weapon. The TWF adds utility.

Although the 5th Rogue level does seem a bit of a waste, but, it was the only way to get the needed skill points for DD and Search.

Thoughts? Suggestions? Should I just bite the bullet and go Cross Class on the skills so I end up with less Rogue Levels?

Sorcerer level isn't doing much for you; you're better off using a consumable item of true strike. Also, the rank cap of a skill that is a class skill for a class you already have but not the class you are currently advancing is still the class skill cap. For clarification:

Rog1 Disable Device +4 (4 skill ranks)
Rog1/Ftr1 Disable Device +5 (+2 skill ranks because its a cc skill)

Ah thanks for the clearing up there.

So I guess next question would be, is it worth CCing skill points all throughout the build? That's a lot of lost skill points right there, but then again, I won't be as dependant on Rogue levels.

Thoughts? Experience?
