Ftr2/Sorc4/SpellSword5/EldritchKnight4/Sacred Exorcist5

Ends up with +16 BAB, Casts Sorceror spells available at 15th level with a CR of 19, +13 Fort, +4 Ref, +13 Will, 4d4 + 4d6 + 10d8 + 2d10 +20 + Con HP, Ignore 20% ASF

Can prepare Quickened True Strikes for Power Attacks, Divine Might, Channel Spell 3/day, Arcane Strike, Detect Evil, Concecrated Presence, etc.

This Gish uses the following Sourcebooks for 3.5:

PHB, DMG, PGtF, CW, CD

This works with just about any race that has either Any, Fighter, or Sorceror for Favored Class, if you go Human you get an extra feat.

1. Ftr1 - Education, Quick Draw [Education from PGtF allows meeting the Knowledge requirements for SE]
2. Sorc1
3. Ftr2 - Power Attack, Eschew Materials
4. Sorc2
5. Sorc3
6. Sorc4 - Improved Initiative
7. Spellsword 1
8. Spellsword 2 - Extend Spell
9. Spellsword 3 - Arcane Strike
10. Spellsword 4
11. Spellsword 5
12. Eldritch Knight 1 - Improved Toughness, Arcane Preparation
13. Eldritch Knight 2
14. Eldritch Knight 3
15. Eldritch Knight 4- Quicken Spell [Make sure to take Dismissal as one of your level 5 spells]
16. Sacred Exorcist 1
17. Sacred Exorcist 2
18. Sacred Exorcist 3 - Divine Might
19. Sacred Exorcist 4
20. Sacred Exorcist 5

Some might opt to swap the last level of SE for more EK action to get another +1 BAB in place of Concecrated Presence while maintaining spell level.

Why did you choose to use Eldritch Knight rather than a Fighter2/Sorcerer4/Spellsword7/SacredExorcist7?

Why did you choose to use Eldritch Knight rather than a Fighter2/Sorcerer4/Spellsword7/SacredExorcist7?

Because one of the requirements to enter SE is the ability to cast Dispel Evil or Dismissal. Sorcerors can get only get Dismissal, a level 5 spell, which requires a Sorceror to have level 10 casting to pick up.

Sorc 4/SpellSword 7 only has 4+4=8 level of Sorceror casting, which is only good up to 4th level spells.

That is why I took the levels of EK, to get Sorc casting up to 10 for Dismissal.

It's kind of a variant on the Ftr2/Sorc4/SS5/EK9 build, except you swap 5 levels of EK for SE, which the Education feat makes possible. That is what makes this a FR build.

Sorcerer gishes with divine might are, without a doubt, quite powerful, and are specially good if you polymorph - thus, reucing MAD and being able to retain high Str & Cha scores. I usually prefer fighter over paladin for most gish builds, but this one is an exception... paladin has knowledge (religion) as a class skill, and spellsword has knowledge (any). That means that you don't really need education if you start with pally, and maybe you can still be a fighter if your int is high enough. At any rate, I'd rather pick Able Learner over Education - after you take Spellsword 1, you'll treat both knowledge requirements as class skills.

I would trade four levels of Spellsword out for something that has full caster progression, even just EK. Channel Spell is not worth losing any spell slots to, at all. The worth of Spellsword for a gish build is ASF, 1 BAB, and 1 caster level, full stop.
