| Confusticated09-11-03, 06:35 AM | I've decided that I want to build a Shadow Dancer for the campaign I've joined. I've looked at the other shadow dancer threads, and I should mention up front that I'm not going to be allowed to use the Shadowlord being that it doesn't really fit into Greyhawk. Also: Another player was lured into the game to play the cleric, so that problem is already covered... I'm sure everyone will offer alternate builds, but first I'd like suggestions for optimizing the direct route. Rogue 7/ Shadow Dancer 10 / X 3. What are the optimal feats and what should X be at the end? What combat strategy should I be pursuing? And finally... What alternate builds would you suggest? Thanks again, Confusticated |

| Mucknuggle09-11-03, 06:57 AM | No Shadowlord? :( Those 2 classes are one of my favorite combos. I like Ranger6 / Rogue3 / Shadow Scout 1 / Shadow Dancer10 |
| Funny Slaughter09-11-03, 07:59 AM | since SD gives you nearly all the rogue-goodies i see rogue as kind of a waste in a good SD-build. try to stay with +1BAB-classes, and indeed, ranger 3.5 is a good way to get into SD. while shadow use is often interpreted as evil i cant share this opinion, you dont have to be connected to shar in any way as a shadowdancer, nor do you have to be evil. gs Funny |
| Skrimshaw09-11-03, 02:55 PM | i agree with funny about the alignment isssue, The class even states that paladin sometimes become shadowdancers..imagine that, LOL A lawful good shadow comapanion! |
