3.5 Sorcerer Help [Archive] - Wizards Community

I'm trying to make a kick ass Sorcerer, but after reading many of the builds here, I wanted to ask some help because most of the builds have things that are not allowed by the DM.
Below are the allowed books, character level is 6. Place is FR - Agalrond. No BoVD, no BoED. No mystic Theurge, No Eldritch Knight... so, i'm just looking for as many spells and highest casting level possible.

12-08-05, 10:35 PM Yup, i've read that post before... but as I said, the combinations there are NOT allowed by the DM. That's why I listed all the allowed books. No complete anything, no 3.0 stuff, no BoED, no BoVD...

And it never occurred to you to try and work around it?

12-08-05, 11:05 PM Yes, I did some working around it, but i'm also curious what there is out there for ideas. Last time I checked, that's what this board was for... talking to other people about such things. I could get all technical and point out that on all the builds listed what was wrong and what wasn't allowed, it's usually the 2nd or 3rd PrC that is not allowed, which is usually one of the things that brings the whole 'idea' together for the choice listed, but I didn't think it was necessary.

12-09-05, 12:12 AM I'll second that one. Just make sure that you use the Incantatrix from Player's Guide to Faerun rather than the one from Magic of Faerun. Lucky you, you get to use the +4 version of Persistent Spell. :D

Persistent kiss of the vampire is quite nice for a sorcerer.

It'd also be a good idea to pick up Craft Wondrous Item so you can make a +30 Spellcraft item, which will only run you a small amount of wealth to make.

No such luck. Not only was Persistant Spell reprinted in the Player's Guide to Faerun, it also got whacked with the nerf bat.
