[3.5] TWF and rapid shot [Archive] - Wizards Community

07-22-03, 08:23 AM Now that the TWF chain is usable with ranged weapons there has got to be something cool that can be done with them.

The best I can come up with is:

Halfling Fighter 4/Rogue 16
TWF etc.
Point Blank Shot etc.
Weapon Focus: Shuriken etc.

Get a friend (or use magic device) to cast Greater Magic Weapon on 50 shuriken (which now counts as ammo for this purpose) and then start throwing 8 per round for a potential 8d6 sneak attack damage. Add Greater Invisibility and haste if needed.

There has got to be a better one though. Ideas?

Make them Brilliant Energy shuriken. Now they're all touch attacks :D

07-22-03, 08:33 AM Ah not really, now they just ignore non-organic armor. Natural armor still applies. While brilliant energy weapons are perfect assassin weapons, they are nearly useless for critter hunting.

Edit: Except it wouldn't as they're enchanted as ammunition now. So 1000 gp per Shuriken. Still quite a bit.
