| Wizard Random07-19-06, 06:42 PM | This feat now uses 2 flaws, any suggestions on improvments will be most welcome. Magic Blooded Template +0 Level Adjustment • -2 Wisdom • +2 Charisma Assimar Template class advancement • “1st level” +0 Adjustment this is the only one you want don’t take the second! • +2 Cha Shar-Lim Sorcery Feat ( Version one) • Req: Human Female of the Shar-Lim Family and Sorc lvl 1 • Effect: Your Charisma is 2 points higher for determining Save Dc’s and Bonus Spells per day Description: Your eyes are a clear green Shar Lim Sorc Feat (second version) • Req: Same as Above and you need the first version • Description: Your eyes glow a soft green Advanced to old age • -4 to physical stats and +2 to mental stats Spell casting Prodigy from the Faruen Campaign setting • Req: Must be taken at first level • Your primary casting stat to determine bonus spells per day and your save DC’s are effectively increased by 2 • Special: can be taken Multiple times however each time it applies to a new spell casting stat Human Heritage Feat-- you'r character counts as a human for all purposes. +5 level up to Cha, +5 Inherent to Cha, +6 Enhancement, +24 Base, +6 Effective = 46 Cha (48 if you take Human Paragon){48+ with other unforeseen CHA boosting abilities or items} This is all done with a 30 (effective) starting charisma at 1st Level after that the Sky is the Limit!! By Being a Female Sorc (Battle Sorc from UA) and taking the 2 templates and 3 feats above (requires use of at least 1 Flaw to gain a extra feat) and having a Starting charisma of 18 you can start the game with a Charisma of 24 and a Effective Charisma of 30 to determine bonus spells per day and a Save DC for spells will be 21+ Spell Level. You also are a powerful member of a noble family, which is a nice perk. Only problem is you gain -4 to all physical stats. This will be a problem from early game unless you have an adventuring party you can rely on. Not to mention however hot and attractive your girl is she is an old character and will die that much sooner, WITHOUT any help from the DM (lol). As a rule of thumb the two templates added can increase your lifespan by 10% per template. You can either buy a scroll of Polymorph any Object (because it is a 8th level spell and you want to change as soon as possible) and change yourself into a Elf or something or even a Élan since they are immortal (the change is permanent since the factors total to 9 or higher) or Become something like a Vampire or a Lich. However I strongly recommend you don’t become undead because of all the problems that arise from being one. (Unless you can become a master vampire) Even a reincarnate will work, but you will lose a level (which can be fixed with a thought bottle) however you will have to sweet talk your DM into letting you turn into a desired Race instead of something like a Kobold. Using these methods you can obtain a super powerful spell caster that will be immortal. Not to mention that you completely remove the -4 to all physical stats by changing bodies. Also be super sure to use metamagic Feats to get the Most out of your Crap ton of spells. By the time you hit 20th level (or sooner if you use money gathering tricks or have a generous DM) you can have an effective charisma score of 46+ Making it practically impossible to save against your spells. I also HIGHLY recommend the use of prestige classes such as Incantirix and at least 1 level of Mindbender to further make your character stronger, just don’t lose a caster level and if you do only lose 1 such as taking 3 levels of Human Paragon to gain that additional +2 to charisma. Also I belive there is a flaw or trait in the UA that allows you to increase one of your stats by 2 points if your total modifier does not exceed +8 or some such. With the -4 to stats from being old you might be able to qualify for it thereby gaining a 32 at first level. |
| Caelic07-19-06, 07:00 PM | Ehrm...if you're an Aasimar, you're not a "human female." |
| Wizard Random07-19-06, 07:04 PM | Ehrm...if you're an Aasimar, you're not a "human female." I see what your saying. However Let's say that my "Human Female" is a first level Battle Sorc. Then she decides to take a level in the Racial Class...or whatever its called. She THEN becomes a native outsider(thankfully the "class" has a Adjustment of +0). Also i BELIVE races of Destiny says that she is still considered human, meaning she can take feats and such that requires human as a Race. |
| Caelic07-19-06, 07:10 PM | Well, no, not quite: 1. If you're not an Aasimar, you don't get to take the Aasimar racial class; if you are, you're not human. Racial progressions don't work that way. You don't start off human, decide you want to start being a Minotaur at 4th level, and then dual class on over to Mind Flayer at 10th. 2. There's a variant rule in Races of Destiny that would allow this, but the normal rules do not. Under the normal rules, you need the Human Heritage feat to make this work--which you do not have. |

Thank you for pointing that out, as a final try of keeping my build alive, i must point out that i only used 1 of my two avalible flaws, i can easily use the second one to take the human heratige feat. |
| TrajanCavalous07-19-06, 07:43 PM | Hi, Very interesting! What books is the Magic Blooded Template in? |
| Wizard Random07-19-06, 07:46 PM | Hi, Very interesting! What books is the Magic Blooded Template in? Dungeon Magazine,.... i dont remeber which one, someone else will know however |
| tsuyoshikentsu07-19-06, 08:00 PM | Dragon,, actually. Either 308 or 209, can never remember. |
| Endarire07-19-06, 08:04 PM | You don't need a feat to make you old age; you could just be venerable and gain +3 mentals and -6 physicals, though I see that the feat is beneficial for sorcerous casting. The normal stats for old age are +2 mentals and -3 physicals. Also, PGtF no longer grants the DC bonus on Spellcasting Prodigy. -EE |

| runestar07-19-06, 10:21 PM | And for the assimar class, you don't have a choice about whether you want to take the 2nd lv or not - you must. But there is the lesser assimar variant in PGTF, a LA+0 assimar which should suit your purposes just fine. :) |
| Stalwartmonkey07-20-06, 12:11 AM | i'm looking in my player's guide to faerun, on page 190 and 191. i see lesser gray dwarves, lesser drow, lesser planetouched, lesser deep gnomes, but no lesser aasimar. what am i missing here? (besides the lesser aasimar). i can't even find it in the web-enhancement in the pdf. |
| HelloRaptor07-20-06, 12:58 AM | Aasamir = Planetouched |
| runestar07-20-06, 01:17 AM | Use the lesser planetouched entry as a guideline for creating your lesser planetouched assimar/tiefling. :) |
| Davus Antonius07-20-06, 01:57 AM | Shar-Lim Sorcery Feat ( Version one) Where is this feat located? Edit: Never mind. Found it. Sherem-Lar/ Sherezem-Lar Sorcery Ghostwalk pg38 |
| Sakris07-20-06, 03:09 AM | Your Charisma is 2 points higher for determining Save Dc’s and Bonus Spells per day Is great, but not "real" charisma. |
| Kuroi Kenshi07-20-06, 03:20 AM | Great find. So...you think a character built this way comes close to, matches, or exceeds the power of a well built wizard? |
| Wizard Random07-21-06, 01:43 PM | Great find. So...you think a character built this way comes close to, matches, or exceeds the power of a well built wizard? hmm well considering even as a Battle Sorc, she can outblast a wizard of her level, and cast almost double his spells per day, i do indeed think she is on par. However this of course assumes she and the wizard cast the same kinda spells ( I.E. Evocation or transmutation) all day long, in verisitility the wizard still has her beat. |
