Uratoh 05-30-06, 01:27 AM	Going with a Human Duskblade, starting lv 2, have 32 point buy....debating stats: 14/14/12/16/10/10 (2 points left) or 12/16/12/16/10/10 Build plans involve: 3rd lv: Take 'Shocking Grasp' as main offensive spell through channeling 6-9: Obtain +1 Spell Storing weapon 9th: Take Empower Spell. Empower Shocking Grasps to put in sword, learn Vampiric Touch Aside from that, not really set on weaponry etc. Probably something finesseable if I go with stats b, making a lv 1 feat be Weapon Finesse.
lyonnyte 05-30-06, 02:15 AM	Was gonna ask this same question but you did it first! Anyway, I currently use a glaive as a primary weapon...though I'd love to have a spiked chain. I used the first choice for stat placement.
Karlcullinane 05-30-06, 02:48 AM	One thing I have done with my Duskblade is taking a feat from the DMG2, Apprentice: Spellcasting. This gives you access to a mentor who charges you a fee from 3rd-5th level to level up, but in exchange, you get to swap out one spell per level if you wish, Use Magic Device as a class skill, and at 5th+ you become a Mentor yourself, and you can get yourself a flunkie. I know the Duskblade is tight on skills, but it does at least have the Int synergy.
