Possibly consider using the self-mutilation rules in the Book of vile darkness. If you are willing to lose 10 HP then you would gain +1 Natural armor. Also consider gaining a extreme shield which will provide a +3 bonus for a total of 36, however I don’t belive you can afford it, also it is a exotic shield which will require a feat to use.

Wizard Random 07-19-06, 07:21 PM	I still have 2 flaws open, any ideas on what i can take to improve my AC even more? I belive Imp Nat armor is repeatable meaning a standing AC of 29 and a Total Defense of 33, however what other special rules are out there that i can use to bring it even higher?

Caelic 07-19-06, 07:29 PM	You could always drop Neraph and go with a Whisper Gnome instead, then take Titan Fighting rather than Improved Natural Armor. That's a +1 size bonus to AC, and a +4 dodge bonus against creatures Medium-sized or larger.

The Whisper Gnome is a great candidate for "Races that really should be +1 but aren't." +2 Dex and Con, -2 Str and Cha, small size, 30' movement, darkvision AND low-light vision, and spell-like abilities--and no level adjustment. Come to think of it, that'd kick your Dex up to 20--there's another +1 AC.

Wizard Random 07-19-06, 09:04 PM	I just read Titan-Fighting and it only applies towards 1 character AND you need dodge.... however i dont want to change it back to Neraph considering you still get +2 to ac with a Dex of 20, as i said you just wont see it until you get better armor. So at first level you can take Dodge and at 2nd take Titan Fighting, unless you want to use a flaw to take it at first level. IS there anything else else i can do to raise my ac higher? THINK people, jeez i dont know what i pay you guys for..... :eek:

stabs 07-20-06, 02:19 AM	It'd be weaker overall, but a Kobold is better than a Whisper Gnome for AC by 1 point. (Small, +1 dex, +1 nat). The RotD Web Enhancement gives them Slight Build too, but this is optional and probably not overly official.

So a fighter 1/warrior 1 is a cr -1 creature. :-D....

I bet you the reduction is because i changed to the Whisper Gnome, once i get home i will check my laptop and see what the ac actually is using the old build

Also you don't get to apply your dodge bonus vs giants on top of your dodge bonus from the titan fighting feat... that feat allows you to apply the racial bonus vs giants to all larger craetures regardless of creature type... it does not allow you to apply it twice to giants What it says is your +1 dodge is instead replaced with a number that equals your racial dodge...and in the whisper gnomes case it is +4 so your +1 dodge turns into a +4 dodge vs 1 guy. You do not lose your racial dodge it is still there. So if you HAPPEN to fight say... a troll and make him the target of your dodge then you would gain +8 to ac vs him. you also add a situational +4 to Ac versus a SINGLE opponent who is medium or larger for a grand total of 32 Ac I do confess the orignal concept was to have a high Ac score (which was 28, and 32 with total defense) that applied ALWAYs, however when Caelic mentioned the titan fighting feat, i saw a way to eek out more points...so now i am just trying to get a super high number.
