5,400 damage [Archive] - Wizards Community

10-22-06, 01:58 AM so i've gotten it to the point where its 15 arcane spellcaster/5 arch mage

feats:
1 sudden maximize
1 sudden empower
1 sudden extend
3 sudden widen
5 sudden still
6 sudden silent
9 spell focus: evocation
10 spell focus: conjuration
12 skill focus: spellcraft
15 split ray
16 arcane thesis: polar ray
18 sudden quicken

get some CL+ stuff so polar ray is now 25d6, use all sudden abilities, split ray, for the archmage's spell like ability trait. then set contingency -> celerity (go off after polar ray). cast your spell like ability, cast your spell like ability, & finally activate celerity to cast full sudden (-quicken) abilities ect. naturally (not the use of spell like ability). 1 round 2700 damage, oh yeah! if you critical, it does 5400.

if you go epic take 2 warrior/2 occult slayer, then 5400 is doubled to 10,800 if you ready your action if a mage casts there spell. also it can be 21,600 if you take 14 more levels of warrior to get overpowering attack. >.< though getting to lv 38 is almost imposible. >.<;; i want to make this character strong enough to blow up the planet (figure of speech). so any improvement or ; ; errors i've made would be helpful

10-22-06, 04:48 AM you say arcane spellcaster10/archmage 5, but with the feats at 5, 10, 15 and 20 you're really talking about a wizard.

I know, it's not helping, but I thought I'd point it out. :)

10-22-06, 08:13 AM Just wanted to let you know, on char-op blowing up the planet isnt a figure of speech, its been done. Ironically by a character that is weak (ish) by todays standards.
