In an awesome turn of events I get to turn the tides on my now dm. This man has made my life as a dm insane with some of the character builds he's made for my campaign.
Now, after the finish of our last campaign, he's running and wants us to start out lvl 7. He left it completely open to us, so I need ALOT of help in getting this character off the ground.
Powergamers especially wanted. We have a minotaur fighter, and some wierd elf I've never heard of as a shadowcaster from ToM. I need ideas, specific builds, anything you have to get my PC off the ground. Thanks in advance for any help.

Edit: Sorry, forgot to say, we need a healer in the group, but that can just be a side. All builds are welcome.

Lol, no, he didn't make a wrong turn. The OP didn't give any specifics, just a "Make be uber" request. So that's what he got. Is an "uber basketweaver" :D cynical and sarcastic? Yes. Point made? Hope so.

Anyways....I used to try and makes things difficult for my DM, and it just made things bad. BUT, a build I've gotten away with easily, and can be "uber" is.......drum roll please.....Druid 1-20. Have fun, and enjoy. Glad I could help :P

In all seriousness, a base Druid is a force to be reckoned with, and a fun and versatile build. Most DM's allow it, because they don't realize that the base Druid, is probably one of the most powerful base class. Goodness from lvl's 1-20.

Completely open? Starting at level 7?

Well, excluding the theoretical optimization builds, this looks like a job for Artificer 7!

Take two flaws (shaky and something else.) to increase your feat count past the already ridiculous 12 that this character gets.

Start the game with a Type 2 bag of holding that contains a Dedicated Wright (multiples if you can afford it).

That's it.

Given enough money and clay monkeys, you can make this a serious nightmare for your DM. Check out some of the Blastificer builds out here as well. You can crank out some very impressive damage, even at level 7.

Look out at higher levels, though; one Mordenkaien's Disjunction could kill all your items outright, and you won't be able to get Epic Spellcasting with Artificer.

If the goal is to upset the DM, isn't it as simple as being of an entirely different power level than the rest of the group? If everyone in the group is powerful, then the group just gets powerful enemies. From what I've seen balanced encounters are difficult to manage when you have a chracter with (for example) tons of hit points, AC, and damage reduction, and the rest of the party is easy to hit with low hit points.

Do a point buy system and go for low stats. Role play the hell out of a low INT, WIS, and CHA.

If the adventure is combat based make a character with no combat ability. Maybe a Rogue modeled after a dandy and focused on diplomacy skills (fun to role play, but literally in the way when it comes to combat).

I'm trying to remember players I've played with who have made things difficult for the game master. Not knowing rules, taking time to take your turn, not knowing the details of a skill, spell, or gameplay mechanic. Bring in lots of animals (druids with pets and summoning, also consider the Beastmaster pristige class, more difficult if you don't know the animal stats to begin with). If animals fly, make sure they're at different elevations. A spell caster who focuses on hindering movement (makes everything take longer). Relate everything to a story about another campaign you were in. While a paladin, role play lawful good as "lawful stupid" making sure to have an unbending and unyielding code of ethics that jesus christ himself would think was kinda over the top. Make sure to try skills more than once (like searching 5 times and making sure the DM rolls each time ... give that a few sessions). Ask for a rest after each fight.

If what you're doing is along the same lines as the power builds he was using in your games, let us know what you end up going with. There are a lot of hardcore builds already existing on these boards.
