| NightBreeze08-03-06, 06:30 PM | So, I'm going to join a party (the DM is a friend and I introduced him to D&D, I still DM for him and another friend, but as I'm moving to a new city I'm moving into his party of new players) Now, they actually aren't really expert...they don't fall into stupid errors, but they really lack the knowledge of an older player, and they don't know Faerun very well...so, even if the DM didn't ask me, I'm going to play a chacter who doesn't take the leadership or even speak much....they will make the decisions, and I will try to survive that :D Now, the party has: 2 Fighters (one is a drow ranger..with 2 scimitars. Ok, he is evil...but still) 1 Cleric 1 Sorcerer So I was thinking about a rogue..specialized in adventuring skill, (except Bluff, I need that for the sneak attacks) Now..I haven't really played a rogue before...I sat down and managed to find a lot of ways to deliver a sneak attack (the other thread here around was pretty helpful). What I want to know is your thoughts...about the special trick and strategies...I'm going to use items a lot...caltrops, alchemic fire, acid, and so on....UMD and devices ... grease, true strike (1 level in sorcerer ?) Unleash your creative mind :D |
