| Qflash06-30-04, 02:41 PM | I have a 8th Level Shade Ninja 3 Kolat Assassin 3 (from ninja handbook Rokugan) Monk 2 ( I have 3 class levels to add on!!!!) I use Chains for weapons. ------------------------------------------------------ His Class Feats/abilities are: Dodge Mobility Spring attack Expert Tactitian (tiger claw from Kolat assassin) Imp Initiative Blooded - comes with Region Combat Reflexes-Monk Stunnig Fist- Monk Improved Unarmed Attack - Monk Quick Draw- Comes with Region plus all shade abilities! Improved backstab 4d8 currently (BS feat from outsoursed material) -------------------------------------------- Str 22 Dex 20 Con 18 Int14 Wis 18 Chr 12 (with Magic items and Shade abilities) oh my ecl is currently +3 due to some Dm changing.... so I'm technically 11th level but have XP for 3 more levels? I just haven't added them in and need some prestige class or class ideas to go into! Been pondering way to long....and playing gimped! any ideas of what to take next. Looking to be awesome with the chain while maintained my shadow jumping and sneak attacking...... anymore info i will provide upon request. thanks Q |

| Snow Savant06-30-04, 04:43 PM | QFlash, You are probably not getting much feedback since the Kolat Assassin & Imp. Backstab feat are D20 material. I have the Rokugan Ninja book (although it's at home), and from what I recall, the Kolat Assassin is a strong PrC. Wish I could help you more, but my memory is fuzzy on the KA PrC. With a STR of 22 and being a Chain wielder ... you ought to really think about becoming a Tripmeister expert. You've got the high STR to win trip checks. And the free attacks you get from tripping will work nice in conjuction with your sneaks, and spring attacking. Good luck! Snow :cloud9: |

It looks like 11th, but I am a little confused in reference to your revised Shade ECL and the mention of your additional XP (or something). Also ... are you really sold on the Shade template (assuming the revised +3 ECL)? I *love* the Shade character concept, but that ECL hit is pretty darn ugly. |
| Qflash07-01-04, 01:14 PM | Wait +3? I thought it was a +4 or +5....? Snow- I started playing the character thinking it was a +2 then a book stated it was +4 or 5? So I played it at +4 and my Dm allowed me to give up Fast healing to bring it down to +3. Currently I'm a 13th level character.(includes ecl) (11 class levs.) at a +2 (due to unearthed arcana's way to bring down ecl) But i only have used 8 character levels and have 3 levels that i have not classed yet. So yes 11th level character (3 of those i have not taken classes for yet)- Thats where i need your help? About this ECL for Shades? DOes anyone know what it is? Currently? Q |
