8th level TWF charger - Antimagic friendly [Archive] - Wizards Community

05-03-05, 09:52 PM Here's a build I have been thinking of for an 8th level unarmed charger.

Point build make Strength priority (assume 18), Dex minimum 13

Half Orc:

1; Bar 1: Snow Tiger Berserker
2; Bar 1 Ftr 1: Imp Unarmed Strike
3; Bar 1 Ftr 2: Dodge, Wpn Focus-UA Strike
4; Bar 1 Ftr 2 Rgr 1:
5; Bar 1 Ftr 2 Rgr 2: (TWF)
6; Bar 1 Ftr 2 Rgr 2 Shou Disc 1: Headlong Rush
7; Bar 1 Ftr 2 Rgr 2 Shou Disc 2: Power Attack
8; Bar 1 Ftr 2 Rgr 2 Shou Disc 3:

The character is capable of a full attack on a charge, dealing 1d10 +5 (+7 when raging) for three attacks, double damage each with Power Attack just for good measure... Works out to 6d10+42 damage on a charge with unarmed attacks at 8th level.

I have to note that this character must be capable of operating at full strength within an anti-magic field... So, no magic or psionic buffing and whatnot unfortunately.

Can I improve this AT 8TH LEVEL?

05-03-05, 10:56 PM You could take the Whirling Rage variant from Unearthed Arcana and squeeze another attack out out it.

Good thing you're in an antimagic field, by the way. This guy's an 8th level PC with a base will save of +1. A 1st level wizard could take him out if he wins initiative.

05-05-05, 12:33 AM I'll assume the three attacks imply the two-weapon fighting, as Shou Disciple doesn't actually grant you the ability to flurry; it merely improves on it.
