04-10-05, 11:41 PM Is it possible to get any two of 9th level Arcane spells, 9th level Divine spells, or 16 BAB into one build. But has anyone attempted all three?

04-11-05, 12:09 AM Ah... Of course. Something like:

Bamboo Spirit Folk (OA) (Gives you Trackless Step)
Wizard 5/ Mindbender 1/ Ur-Priest 2/ Arcane Heirophant 8/ Full Wizard Caster 4 (I like Initiate of the Seven Fold Veil for the 4th level Reactive Warding, pity we can't cram all 7 levels in, but it's not bad with just that, lets you stop those pesky arrows)

Then cast Divine Power with Divine Metamagic (CD): Persist Spell (CA) and you've got a 20 BAB. Happy killing.

Alternatively, if you don't want to worry about Dispell Magic, etc: convince your DM that Partial BAB is a good idea, as is letting Divine Oracle's Prescient Sense qualify for Evasion and do the following:

Druid 1/ Bard 5/Divine Oracle 2/Ur-Priest 2/Sublime Chord 2/Fochlucan Lyrist 8

or if your really like the RAW on the requirements and can swing partial BAB:
Druid 1/ Bard 6/Rogue 2/ Ur-Priest 1/Fochlucan Lyrist 1/ Sublime Chord 1/ Fochlucan Lyrist 2-8

There, BAB 16 and 9th level spells.

That's 10 levels at 3/4, 1 at 1/2, and 8 at 1

So... 7.5 + .5 + 8 = 16 by my count.

04-17-05, 06:31 AM Just use Divine Metamagic to cast Persistant Divine Might, keep a ring of Greater and be done with it. Without Partial BAB there's no way you can do all the multiclassing required and still have a good BAB, unfortunately.

04-17-05, 10:32 PM Erm... Ring of Counterspelling with Greater Dispel Magic cast in it. And it's effectively the same thing if you have such a means to prevent counterspelling, which is why you're probably not getting too many answers.

04-18-05, 03:45 AM Better to get the spellblade enchantment (Player's Guide to Faerun) on your weapon than purchase a ring of greater counterspelling. For 6000gp, not only will it absorb the greater dispel magic, but you can send it back on your turn as a free action, plus your valuable ring slot is left open.
