| Archmonarch11-11-05, 10:02 AM | Im starting a game soon where I will be playing a 5th lvl human totemist who has the normal gp for that level. His basic stats are as follows using 32 pt buy: Str: 14 Dex: 14 Con: 16 Int: 14 Wis: 10 Cha: 10 BAB: +3 Fort: +4 Ref: +4 Will: +3 (Iron Will) Feats: Able Learner, Iron Will, Improved Essentia Capacity (Flaw: Vulnerable), and Azure Wildshape (The last is debatable. Im still trying to convince my DM the natural attack bonus should apply to Totemist souldmelds as well). Soulmelds (Essentia): Ankheg (2), Landshark Boots- Bound to totem (1), Lammasu Mantle (Im playing a Ravenloft campaign), and Purple Worm Belt. I get an extra point of essentia from Azure Wildshape into which it goes. Im trying to focus on natural attacks and armor. If I calculate correctly without my book in front of me, I have an AC of 19 (21 against evil). And so now I have to equip my character. Ive come up with the following so far, but am open to suggestions: Amulet of Natural Armor +1 Heward's Handy Haversack Ring of Sustenance Cloak of Resistance +1 and various sundries costing about 147 gp. This leaves me with 1353 gp, but as I said I am open to change if it helps. Im planning to save up for a Necklace of Natural Weapons, because I cant afford it at the moment with the other items. Perhaps I should get rid of the Ring of Sustenance? I am unsure. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. |
