So, I'm apparently going to be in a solo game. First hereas the raw stuff

Stat Rolls: 18,18,16,14,14,15 (Not really rolls so much as the dms super elite array)

Races: I'd prefer ECL 0.

Books:

Tome of Battle
Core
Complete series except Mage.
PHB2

3000 Startign Gold

I'm really really wanting to try out the tome of battle for this go. With the low Gold I'm thinking some flavor of Crusader/Monk. That way I can heal myself without relyign too much on magic.

Here's my thoughts:
Human
Monk4/Crusader4/Warblade1

Feats:

1st:Stunning Fist, Imp. Trip, Combat Expertise
2nd:Combat Reflexes
3rd:EWP (Spiked Chain)
6th:Superior Unarmed Strike
9th:Snap Kick

EssentiallyI'll be a tripping machine. I won't ahve the moeny for craz amounts of armor or weapons but a spiked chain adn a few Enlarge Person pots will do the trick rather nciely. The Warblade level will let me pick up Iron Heart Surge. If anyone dares tumble at me they get to deal witha faceful of fist. Being able to self heal with Devoted pirit maneuvers adn stances alognside jsut knocking down walls with Mountain HAmmer will give me soem good crossover stuff frmo other classes without sacrificing any important killing pwoer.

I would be forced to play a Ruby Knight Vindicator or Jade Phoenix Mage with bard/warblade or cleric/crusader entry.

But, since you want a crusader/monk... go for it. I don't see a question here? Swordsage synergizes with monk a bit more, but offers no healing.

I'm looking mostly for suggestions, thoughts, alternate solutions. I've thought fo a ruby knight vindicator. But, i prefer to have a bit more passive bonus so I can leap intoa fight fast without having to stop to ast buffs.
