Hi guys.

I'm thinking of retiring my tiefling bard temporarily, and picking up an illusionist type character after the conclusion of our current campaign storyline. However, I don't want to play a straight wizard. Instead- I'd like to go with sorcerer. Further, I'd like to play a gnome.

Yeah, these are not optimized choices. I like to start with a bit of imperfection and build something interesting from there. My highest stats would be (in order) charisma, dex, wis and con. I wouldn't mind intel and str as dump stats, obviously. The only reason I care about con is I know I'm going to get hammered on hit points as a sorcerer, so I'm hoping for a +1.

For Feats I have so far chosen:
Spell Focus: Illusion, Greater Spell Focus: Illusion, Improved Initiative

I need some ideas for a 4th feat!

If my spell focus feats seem out of line, let me know.

Also, would like some ideas on spells. I haven't scanned through yet.

For a flavorful sorceror, you might want to check out the Fiend-Blooded PrC from Heroes of Horror. A nice 9/10 caster sorceror PrC (where you only lose a CL at level 10) that gives some other useful bennies (attribute bonuses, bonus spells, etc). The entry requirements are somewhat painful, especially for a feat-poor sorceror.

Otherwise, I'd take a look at the Killer Gnome thread (Snow Savants, I think). Check the stickies, it's linked to there somewhere. Uses shadow spells to great effect.
