9th level THW ideas [Archive] - Wizards Community

05-24-06, 12:05 AM Hello all. I am getting a bit bored with my Samurai / Iajutsu Master character and was thinking of working up a two handed weapon build. 9th level and keep out of Dragon Magazine. Was thinking of going in with a Fighter (4) / Barbarian (2) / Frenzied Berzerker (3). Ideas suggestions? Have a 18, 18, 17, 15, 14, 12 to work with.

05-24-06, 01:27 AM Because I'm tired of playing a spellcaster, which is why I made a melee. I would be willing to here arguments for an archer provided they didn't rely on some type of sneak attack damage to be effective.

05-24-06, 01:53 AM If you want to play a divine archer it gives alot of ass kick ability i would suggest favored soul of elohna. but if you are looking for a frenzied beserker yes that will kill just about anything. I might suggest that you instead take you 6 lvl in bear warrior, then 2 levels in warshaper then final level in frenzied beserker. The warshaper is really nice check out the combo. 2 levels in warshaper gives you 4str and 4con for free not enanchment bonus. Plus it gives some other abilities related to when you turn into a FREAKING BEAR and maul the crap out of somone.

Maybe you were thinking I was just going to add onto my samurai and I had 9 levels left. I'm talking about levels 1 - 9. So that doesn't really work as listed. Do Barbarian 7 / Bear Warrior 1 / Warshaper 1, because I had never looked at the Warshaper before. Those are some pretty mean bonuses.
