*Optimize that picture* [Archive] - Wizards Community

10-27-04, 06:22 AM Hello everyone. I bet you're wondering what this thread is about? Well, here's the basic idea behind "optimize that picture". Have you ever seen a piece of art that looked so cool that it inspired a DnD character? Have you ever wanted to put DnD stats to a picture? I know that I, and many other CO goes have. Hence, I've made this thread.

I'll be creating a new thread every week with a randomly selected picture (taken from a pool of suggested pictures). I'll link to that thread here. In the weekly threads the purpose is to give the picture a progression from level 1 to 20, complete with feats, suggested equipment and anything else that you may wish to include. I'll contact WizO_Autumn to see if we can get a poll done each week to choose the "best" optimization of the picture, although I'm betting that this will prove to be too much of a hassle to get done while also looking after the CO Board contests. Anyway, post any general questions or comments here. Also please post or link to a picture that you think would be a good candidate for optimization.

Does anybody have any pictures to suggest? If not I might just pic something from Todd Lockwood's website.

This recipe requires the Draconomicon, Dungeon Master Guide, Unearthed Arcana, Eberron Campaign Setting, and Complete Warrior books. As well as some suspension of disbelief.

You take these feats:
Level Feat(s)/Selectable Abilities
1 Adamantine Body
3 Power Attack
6 Improved Bull Rush
9 Shock Trooper
12 Improved Sunder
15 Combat Brute
You get these feats for free:
Combat Casting - Bonus from 5th level of Hexblade
Powerful Charge - Bonus from 1st level of Warforged Juggernaut
Alertness - Vampiric Dragon Bonus feat
Combat Reflexes - Vampiric Dragon Bonus feat
Dodge - Vampiric Dragon Bonus feat
Improved Initative - Vampiric Dragon Bonus feat
Lightning Reflexes - Vampiric Dragon Bonus feat

Now you only end up with a base attack bonus of +12 and your final base saves are:
Fort +10
Ref +4
Will +11

Your total ability modifiers (before levels/magic) are:
+12 to str
+6 to dex
+4 to con (which becomes "-" later)
+4 to int
+4 to cha

You get all the non-living construct subtype Warforged abilities, all the Vampiric Dragon abilities, 5 levels worth of Hexblade abilities, all the Dragon Disciple abilities, and a level's worth of Warforged Juggernaut abilities.

But mostly... you're a Warforged Half-Dragon Vampire Juggernaut!!! How ridiculous is that?
