Endarire 04-09-05, 06:46 PM	I've read numerous posts about optimizing sublime chords and enlightened fists, but none seem to fit my concept. Players, be warned that some major spoilers lurk within. You've been warned. Now that I hope you PCs have left, here's the idea: A CG gnome bard from a family of performers and magicians has decided to take the advice of his grandfather and live an orderly lifestyle since their trade is dying out. He finds a wandering monk and agrees to live with him as an initiate for awhile to learn his ways, but the gnome bard decides that the life is just too confining and his heart is in music. One day he runs off and returns to music, but decides to incorporate his unarmed training into dancing and acrobatics. Sources: Anything WotC including web enhancements, etc. plus house rules. Dragon's out, but anything especially interesting from a third party source will be considered, if only to be laughed at. Even so, two feats to enter SC three levels early seems like a so-so decision. -Each creature may wear one magic ring per fingerlike appendage to full effect. Advice on this build, including items, would be helpful. -EE
The Thing in the Night 04-09-05, 07:28 PM	-Asthetic Mage can be taken at first level. -EE :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: Asthetic Mage? What is he, a fashion model? Or do you mean Ascetic mage? That aside, I think a Monk2/Sorceror3/Enlightened Fist1-3/Virtuoso2/Sublime Chord2/Enlightened Fist4-10/xx1 would work better from a mechanical standpoint.
Endarire 04-10-05, 01:53 PM	True, but I'm asking because this isn't the standard build. I'm stuck on Bard. He'll be wearing a Ring of Shield (continual shield), a hand crossbow- house ruled to be a simple weapon, a light performer's outfit, and a tattoo of continual prestidigitation at least. -EE
Endarire 04-12-05, 01:01 AM	Any suggestions for spells besides prestidigitation? I intend for him to take CLW as it's the sensical thing to do. -EE
