Hey all. I've been loving the warlock as of late, as it's fun to rp and to nuke things with. I've always liked the monk for the abusable scaling of unarmed damage that can never be disarmed (though never enchanted, admittedly). I've already played as a swordsman/warlock, so this time I wanted a fist-fighter who abused Hideous Blow; with his hands. Here's the character's history, to give you an idea of where I'm going with this guy.

The character has the past of a monk, but the temple was destroyed, it's monks slaughtered (think Bak Mei legend). So, hating his gods instead, he became a fighter, as he could fight unarmed and thus make money in cage matches, etc. He eventually discovered through his angsty-hatred following the temple-burning that he had eldritch powers. But knowing that Warlocks were reputed as evil, which could hurt his rep and ability to stay alive, he hid it. Only after adventuring with a group of his first non-monk friends does he use it to kill an enemy. He therefore travels, learning to utilize his eldritch and martial arts together.

Him in a nutshell. He'll start off a simple monk, and eventually unveil warlock-dom. That's enough plot; lets stat this guy. Stat were easy, so I left them at the bottom. I'm kinda set on this class-structure, but what I don't know is what the last three feats (and his flaw optional feat, cause I'm not sure they're being allowed) should be. So, what can I use to help me slap people with eldritch fists? He'll probably never use his hit at range, so no PBS. But what else can we do with him?

---Hellfire Warlock Entry Requirements
Skills: Intimidate 6 ranks, Knowledge (the planes) 12 ranks, Spellcraft 6 ranks.
Language: Infernal.
Warlock Invocation: Must know brimstone blast or hellrime blast.

---Items to get:
Monk's Belt = 13,000 g
Warlock Staff = 28,000 g
+8 Bracers AC = 64,000 g

---Stats:
Dex: Cause he's a nimble monk, and needs all the AC he can get. Bareknuckle brawlers need to have speed.
Wisdom: Empowers his monk abilities, and gives more AC. Awesome.
Charisma: Good RP ability, and it helps his warlock abilities even more.
Int/Con: Depends on how you want him to be; intelligent more than sturdy or what?
Str: Oddly, he really doesn't need it. He's got dice to boost damage, and doesn't need it to hit. Dump stat even.

Since Hideous Blow is a Standard Action (negating the opportunity to do Full Attack), my guess is that you'll get a lot more mileage out of feats that grant extra attacks when hitting with an Unarmed Strike (rather than making that one strike more powerful). That, or focus on Flyby Attack (AoOs will suck, but unless they can fly at least you're only trading blows) or Tumble-ing in and out of melee range. Depends on how you look at it, I guess.

Greater Flyby Attack and you should suffer no AoOs. Get a reach weapon and there would be an even smaller chance of AoOs.
