A build I'm trying out, help needed. [Archive] - Wizards Community

First off, the avaliable sources are: Core, XPsi, Eberron, CD, CW, LM, and Draconomicon.

The build I'm looking at pulls from Core, CD, CW, and Drac, for an unusual, but potentially devastating, Dervish build.

Human Monk 7/ Initiate of Draconic Mysteries 2/ Templar 1/ Dervish 10

What it gives: generally high saves, complete immunity to partial effects, decent unarmed damage, and the ability to Dervish Dance unarmed. The levels are taken in that order.

Most importantly, whenever I'm not taking a Prerequisite feat (12, 15, and 18), I'm taking TWF feats. Thus, when it hits level 20, it is capable of making 14 attacks in one round, using the Thousand Cuts ability in conjunction with Flurry attacks.

Very nice. It looks like it will be a fun, unique character to play.

But what exactly did you need help with? It looks like your classes and feats are already accounted for. There are not many levels that have any wiggle room for this character.

Overall, it's not as great as some of the Mean Liar monk builds, but it should do ok.

Cheers

If you can find a free feat slot I'd suggest taking Elusive Target with it. Anything that grants the dervish extra attacks (or eqivalent thereof) during a round is a good thing.
