i need a build that doesn't need magic items or the like.
VoP doesn't work because i am evil.
Forsaker neither, because it is 3.0.
any other?
It should focus on EX abilities.
or maybe incarnum?
This is the opponent. (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=274509)

Get yourself one of those uber turning builds, minus all the stuff that effects only undead (like consecrate, hallow, etc), plus the Thirst domain from Sandstorm. Watch your DM's mouth fall open as you snap off a quickened Ooze Turning and destroy the darn thing without even spending an action. :D

A Warforged with added slam attacks and a bite and levels in Thayan Gladiator and the full monty in Soul Eater might do the trick. Then again, so does Changeling with Soul Eater and Warshaper to grow new natural weapons with which he can level-drain his opponents.

Warforged Charger with but two Battlefists (hello, two times improved natural weapon) and levels in Warhulk. That's also downright nasty.

Druid 20

Honestly you dont realy need anything to be effective.

Check some of the new stuff from Magic of the Incarnum. Their Chakra binds limit the use of certain magic items anyways.

I also had a Sorc 5/Bloodmage 10/Fleshwarper 5 build. Blood mage is an interesting PrC. No need for minor spell components, no need for a spell book, instead of scrolls, you scratch spells on your skin for latter use. Instead of potions, it's in your blood. As a Fleshwarper, you convert your wealth into grafts.

So really you have a bunch of abilities that mimic magic items, that can never be lost or stolen, and can sometimes even bypass anti magic fields. This was a character made to be highly resistant to the DM's whims. He chooses what spells he learns, he can make his own "magic items", he doesn't need much in the way of components or a spell book, and it is really difficult for his "items" to be taken away....unless amputation is a normal part of your campaign.

Oh wait... I just saw what your fighting. Yikes. If the dm rules that works on grafts it would get messy. Now there is an arguement against that though, as the grafts are not magic items per say and it says some function normally in anti magic fields. But you never know how the dm will interrpret things.

Ok, how about a Skarn monk/spinemeld warrior (whatever their called). Your spines are natural weapons, count towards the monk unarmed strikes, and you can put essentia into your spines. Also, you can invest your essentia into your incarnum feats to pump up your combat potential. With the 9th lvl in the PrC your spines are considered adamantine. This could have a real shot at that thing. Tack on some nice combat feats and rend away.

The soulknife makes his own magic blade, over and over again if needed. Monks are also worth mentioning, for their ki strike.

My personal favorite is the barb/primeval. Rage, turn into an animal, and beat the crap out of something. At level 10 of primeval, their attacks are treated as magical weapons. Magic items aren't necessary, but of course they help.

Warlock. Fly above it. Blast it. Or Dark Discorporate and do 32d6 of damage to it each round.

The only problem with a warlock is that he possibly won't land all of his hits, due to SR.

Well, any decent Warlock has Spell Penetration. Assuming the Warlock is level 20, he needs an 5 or greater on the d20. That means 3/4ths of the time he hits. And again, this thing is helpless against Dark Discorporation, and that means about 102 points of damage per round.

32d6?

A huge creature occupies 3x3 squares. Dark Discorporeation does 4d6 per 5' square occupied. * x 5d6 = 32d6 in total. DR 10/magic is bypassed because the swarm attacks as a magic weapon of the Warlock's alignment.

I would imagine at Epic levels it would do 5d6 damage per square, since the HD of the swarm increases.

If that's your only opponent...
1) fly and shoot it to death,
2) be bigger than huge: it cannot engulf you
3) make a frenzied berserker and hit it to pieces. You certainly hit harder than it.
4) Be a druid. So many tactics.
5) It has move 20 feet.... skirmish archer.
... I think you got the idea. Its a shame when they tell in advance who is your opponent.

Forsaker is still allowed in 3.5. Anything from 3.0 not updated or clearly obsoleted is still valid in 3.5.

Druid/MoMF/War shaper would probably work well...who needs magic items when you can turn into big monsters and eat things.

Or if you go warlock, take vitriolic blast invocation to get past SR. If you meet a high SR mob with acid immunity, run very far away.

Just make a pure psionic character and laugh....
IIRC disjunction does not affect psionic items/spells at all.

Nah! Just Dark Discorporate and eat 'em.

:lightbulb --> :eek: --> :plotting: --> :evillaugh

I'm begining to think that turning into a swarm of shadowy shapes is the answer to all of life's problems!

so against a large creature you deal 16d6?

Yeah. But DR applies against each 4d6 seperately, of course, so if you can only ignore DR/magic + your alignment(s). I still think that you should also ignore DR/Cold Iron, since you have DR/Cold Iron as a class ability.

Forsaker is still allowed in 3.5. Anything from 3.0 not updated or clearly obsoleted is still valid in 3.5.But a Forsaker would have some heavy decisions to ponder:
1. I hate magic, this is a living magical spell.
2. But this living magical spell thinks like I do - destroy all magic items.
3. This living spell is much more efficient than I am, it must be more powerful than me.
4. I will name it and worship it as my new god.

Within which book(s) is said Skarn/Prc warrior located?

Magic of the Incarnum, Skarn is a new race introduced there. They have racial substitution levels for monks, and spine meld warrior is a skarn specific PrC.
