Trying to make a non-mounted charging paladin for a 2-shot game. I'm using the PHBII variant that subs out a mount in exchange for 2 points of extra damage/paladin level on a charge + smite.

Human. Paladin 5. 28-point buy. All 3.5 books available (though no flaws allowed).

What can be done with 3 feats and careful item selectin?

I have an idea for a spell: for a charge use the 'rhino rush' spell from SpC. It doubles your damage on a charge...as a swift action

Headlong Rush and Leap Attack? That'd be triple. If you can fit Shock Trooper in as well, things will get exploded.

I'm familiar with "Leap Attack." Where can "Headlong Rush" be found?

Unfortunately, he won't be able to qualify for Leap Attack (Jump 8 ranks) or Shock Trooper (BAB +6, IIRC). That's pretty limiting. He won't even be able to take Divine Might, as Paladin Turning doesn't kick in until 4th level, after his feat.

Looks like just a Rhino's Rush (SpC, Pal 1) Power Attack charge. You could take the Faerun Regional feat that gives you +4 to hit on a charge instead of +2, I suppose...

HEadlong run(races of faerun) can only be taken by orcs/half orcs, IMO. :( It doubles all damage on a non-mounted charge, but you provoke AoOs from everyone.

when being Pal-5 , your extra damage of the 'charging smite' will be +10 (besides the regular +5).

You might consider taking Cl1/Pal4, depending on how high your CHA is.
You won't get 'charging smite' , but you *can* get is 3 divine feats starting at level 1.
One you might consider is HolySmite, which adds your CHA to damage (probably +3 or +4).

At fifth (full pal5) level you have 2 smites, but when taking alevel in Cleric you can use your divine-slots 6 or 7 times a day. That's about as much extra damage (2*10 for smites or 6*3/7*4 for holysmite)
