Chaos_Kitten 10-20-04, 11:50 AM	Hello all you wise and wonderful people. I recently joined a campaign where I am playing a cloistered cleric. I'm usually the first one to sign up to play the party beat stick/meat shield, but I decided I need to expand my horizions. I also decided I wanted to try getting into a prestige class. I never do and again this will be something very different for me. I wondered if you good folks could help me find one that fits with my characters all over personality and concept; yet still make her a pretty tough cookie. I'll give you some basics and hopes that helps. 3rd level cloistered cleric (Freelance Cleric of the Olympian Pantheon as a whole; though lately she had been studying at the temple of Apollo and has his holy symbol) Str 13, Dex 14, Con 15, Int 16, Wisdom 17, Cha 18 (I know it's funny I happened to roll those scores. I didn't even realize I put them in order like that until I was done matching scores to stats.) Her domains are Knowledge (of course), Mind and Trickery. Her feats are Nymph's Kiss, Divine Vigor, and Intuitive Attack (Since the next session after leveling up hasn't happened yet. Intuitive attack is still up for change.) I don't have my character sheet here but she does have a high bluff and diplomacy score. Her family is noble and well regarded in the empire. She's naturally a fast talker and her upbringing has only helped her in that regard. Being a cloistered cleric she has ranks in many knowledge skills. I'm sorry I don't have the numbers off the top of my head. Thanks for help in advance. I really appreciate it. CK P.S. I almost forgot to add that she's completely fascinated by arcane magic. She keeps a journal where she writes about her adventures. It just happens to be a wizards spell book. Maybe that will also help.
scrollreader 10-20-04, 09:28 PM	Loremaster has some definate potential for this character, in my opinion. As well as, possibly, a dweomerkeeper, if you could get the magic domain in. Not a cheater, just ... a nice dweomerkeeper build. But again, Loremaster is a shoe in. Take a look at it in the DMG, it's a very nice class for knowledge focused clerics. Not combat oriented, but it meshes very well with a Cloistered Cleric, IMO.
