| Duskey06-17-03, 05:27 PM | How to do this? I'm still looking for more clever ways of doing it than these. Coup-de Grace owns! You can get the victim sleeping by either casting a sleep spell or use alchemical sleep gas, from the forgotten realms compendium Throw a rope at someone and use animate rope Cast hold person Do you know anymore? |
| JosephKell06-17-03, 05:31 PM | Improved Initative and Death Blow. Coup de'Grace as a standard action. (So if someone else does something to make them helpless you can move in and dispatch them faster, important in 3.5 where they get a Save verse Hold every round) |
| Neonsamurai06-17-03, 05:37 PM | A monk who goes the pressure point route and with the death blow feat may be a viable choice. Use freezing the lifeblood / choke hold to knock out your foes and then cdg them with a standard action. Pretty mean in conjuntion with haste and expert tactician ;) |
| Duskey06-17-03, 06:15 PM | No ideas on how to paralyze people? Isn't there some gaze of the basilisk in the dmg. Can't find eyes or goggles or anything |
| mostholycerebus06-17-03, 09:30 PM | Monks don't get poison use, but they are immune to all poison. Smear that paralyze poison all over yer hands and go to work. Assassins with paralyze poison, Death Blow and Expert Tactician will have a good time too. |

Can't find eyes or goggles or anything Just to make sure this is obvious: Poison Use doesn't make a character immune to poison, it just makes them no longer risk poisoning themselves when they put it on a weapon. Smearing it on their hands would poison them if it were a touch poison (and if they are trying to poison someone with a bludgeoning weapon it must be a touch poison). But a monk with Diamond Body could do it. |
| Talen Lee06-18-03, 01:02 AM | Psychic Warrior with a Coup De Grace Manifester weapon. Burn some PP, make an automatic CDG. |
