| Mighty Ranter01-11-06, 05:58 PM | So, after seeing an add of Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows, and saw House of the Flying Daggers, I decided to persue a dagger thrower character. Here's my concept: A character that can throw multiple daggers quickly, or at once. He throws the daggers with perfect aim and the daggers can return to him after they've done thier damage. His daggers can do almost seemingly imposibble thrown paths, like change direction midway, and do suprisingly amount of damage. The characters battle style is to move around to the best strike point, be it whether up, down, left or right and attack with his multiple daggers. So what do you think? Can it be done? I'm thinking, Rog 6/Swash 3/Master thrower 5/ Fighter 4/ Scout 2. With point blank shot, rapid shot, Many shot if it also works with daggers, Weapon focus, Dodge, Mobility, Whirlwind attack, Two weapon fighting if i need it, Improved rapid shot if i can, quick draw, flick of the wrist.Weapon Specialisation, I dont' think i can have all of it. So tell me your opinion, what do you thinkn is the best way to optamize a dagger thrower? |

I'd suggest something like Ranger 3/Fighter 2/Invisible Blade 5/Peerless Archer 3/Nightsong Enforcer 7 I'm not quite sure it all fits in, you might be better off taking Ranger 2/Fighter 4/Nightsong Enforcer 5 or something, but with the TWF feat chain, and Rapid Shot (which both woth with thrown daggers) you're looking at 8 attacks a round,7 or 8 dice of sneak attack, full BAB, and ranged Power Attack. |
