Suggestions? Perhaps a different prestige class? Different feats? Also, what sort of equipment other than the obvious stat boosters and protective items? For weapon, I'm thinking Quarterstaff, but if anyone has a better suggestion I'm certainly open to it.

You need power attack to qualify for divine might.

Interesting build though it suffers from some serious MAD.

Ahh, thanks for pointing that out. And yes, the MAD is heavy, although it has some very nice abilities. The hope would be that I could roll better stats, but for now I'm using point buy to get an idea of what his stats would be and also because that's what I use in the games I play online.

If you have access to Dragon, then you can take the feat Serenity, which bases all your Cha-dependent Paladin abilities on Wis.

That would certainly help with the MAD. What issue of Dragon is that?

EDIT: Never mind, found it. Wow, that is nice. The only problem is that I had to drop Divine Might to fit it in. But then again, Smite Evil does a good deal more damage, so the Extra Smiting should be a good compensation. Many thanks for pointing out that Feat.

Bump for any other suggestions.

I thought about perhaps Tattooed Monk, Beastmaster, or Halfling Outrider (changing race to Halfling for that one, of course) for this guy as alternates to Tempest. Tattooed Monk would give him equivalent 20th level Monk unarmed attacks and some nifty abilities from the tattooes. Beastmaster gives higher Animal Companion stats. Halfling Outrider gives higher Mount stats. I was thinking that something like a Large Wolf would make a really great combined Special Mount/Animal Companion. It's got the same hit dice as a Heavy Warhorse, and this guy is heavy on the nature stuff with Ranger levels and all the Ascetic/Devoted feats, so that shouldn't be too big of a stretch. Then you could ride your Wolf around and if you got into combat you could dismount and let him go to town.

Anybody else have any input?

A change of name to hopefully attract the right kind of optimizers and one last, desperate, pleading bump.

Come on, people... SOMEBODY must have some ideas/suggestions/input.... Right?

You could go halfling, take one level of beast master to boost your companion level by 4, then go halfling outrider to advance both the companion and mount, which are the same via devoted tracker.

Shou Disciple from Unapprochable East is an awesome class. Better Unarmed attacks, stacks with monk levels for damage and flurry, and its only 5 levels

Dude, Shou Disciple is awesome. I can stack the levels for unarmed strikes AND I can use any weapon with a Flurry? And full base attack? That's just ridiculously good.

The Beastmaster/Halfling Outrider thing was also a great idea, but Feat crunch has defeated me; I'm one short once I remove Human, and I'm not allowed to use Flaws or anything like that. I could go Beastmaster 3/Halfling Outrider 2 though and remove Extra Smiting, that might work. Halfling Outrider wouldn't really give me any goodies until Epic though, which I doubt we'd be going to.

Great ideas, thanks a bunch.
