First, what exactly is the 'Polymorph Errata" and how does it effect a Druid's Wild Shape ability?

If I have taken the Vow of Poverty, can I carry (but not use) items for another member of my party? We've got a Cleric in our group with a relatively low strength and I wanted to help him carry his backpack and other things. Can I do this without breaking my vow?

Do the "Freedom of Movement" and "True Seeing" benefits from Vow of Poverty work while Wild Shaped?

Thanks in advance.

All errata can be found on the WoTC website. This specific 'errata' was a fix they tried to make in the PHB2 I think.

As a DM I woudn't have a problem with this. As long as you don't benefit from the gear, it shouldn't be a problem. Definitely ask your DM.

Yes.

VOP is a feat. Therefore, you benefit from it regardless of whatever form you take, unlike conventional eq.:)

The polymorph errata basically change all sources which originally referenced polymorph. Now, they will mimic alternate form instead. Same applies to wildshape. For example, wildshaping into a treant no longer grants the plant subtype and all those lovable plant traits...:(

So, what do you get for Wild Shaping?

Natural attacks....natural armor....what else?

I've been hearing something about the "Polymorph Errata" effecting your hit points while Wild Shaped. What's that all about? Do I need a high Con score?

Read the errata.

But in case you're really lazy, yes, Druids need Con now.

Yeah, read the errata, but now wildshaping doesn't give you extra hp if you wildshape to something with high con, so you can't have too low con.
