A few ToB builds [Archive] - Wizards Community

11-05-06, 07:35 PM Im playing in two homebrews right now, both of which i am playing a class from ToB in. The first is crusader 5 right now. Im thinking Crusader 5/Paladin 4/Ruby knight vindicator 7/ crusader or paladin 4 or would Crusader 5 /cleric 1/RKV7/Cleric or Crusader 7 be better?

The second build is looking like Lurk 4/Swordsage3/Psy war 2/some combination of swordsage and lurk 11. Any optimization is welcome, i have pretty much all books at mydisposal minus minds eye, and mongoose etc.

Aid, input, feedback, I would like to hear it all :0.

11-05-06, 08:03 PM Unless you've heavily invested to charisma, I'd go with Cleric.

Now, OTOH, Swordsage and Psychic Warrior (or PW PrCs) has good WIS synergy.

Or alternately, Lurk + Warblade.

11-05-06, 08:09 PM Yes i am having a bit of a Mad problem, but i like the lurk augments alot, i suppose ill look further into warblade.

Lurk 12 / Warblade 7 / Nightsong Enforcer 1

I originally tried to toss in Swash-3 into the mix, but XP penalties reared its ugly head.

But obviously much more improved and with more teeth. :D
