A bit of back ground first of all. I'm starting a 1st lvl fighter in a low magic, FR campaign. My father who is captain of the Royal guards has taught me fighting whilst I received schooling from the Royal tutors due to my mother being part of the Royal family. ( A distant member tho) I have decided that life in the city of Suzail is a bit boring and decided to leave and adventure, if only for a small amount of time. I join as a caravan guard heading for the town of ???? When I meet up with the rest of the party (in a tavern no doubt) none of them know my past or who I am. Now what I'm looking for is a fighter who is not the usual, I want to try something different, and that may also include an unusual prestige class. My starting stats are as follows: can be one of two sets 17 / 16 / 16 / 12 / 12 / 14 or 17 / 16 / 15 / 14 / 12 / 14 with the following equipment: Chain Class Amour Normal Sword Basic Equipment 80gp Square of Carnelian worth 100gp Family signet ring. I was think of going down the 2Hander bastard sword and picking up buckler defence so I could still have a shield bonus. Or even a spiked chain if I can work out al the pro's /con's. And as a prestige class I was going to go for Justical ((sp?) sorry don't have any of the books with me I'm at work) as I think it would fit nice as a role play aspect with being a guard but this would mean taking the Track feat. Any suggestions for an original fighter / prestige class would help me a lot. Cheers
