| mean_liar02-16-04, 08:18 PM | ...I was attacked, killed and then eaten by this thing: Ghul KrynnMinotaur Monk ECL +3 STR +6, DEX +2, INT -2, WIS +4 paralysis-inducing unarmed strikes and 1 or 2 secondary attacks natural armor +2 At level 14, while hasted this thing attacks 7 times with each attack a possible paralysis effect for d4+1 minutes. Whee. What's really gross is that you can take a hit to your WIS and still have a good score and put what would have been your WIS into CHA in order to boost your paralysis DC. With Ability Focus (paralysis). ... Of course, he was nothing compared to his companion who just watched. HalfMinotaur Orc Cleric ECL +1 Large size; STR +8, CON +2, INT -4, WIS -2, CHA -2 a secondary attack at full STR natural armor +2 Hahaha, this Cleric has the Strength domain and can cast Enlarge Person (and later, Righteous Might) on himself. As an NPC, this guy could also be a Barbarian/Fighter/Eye of Gruumsh/Blessed of Gruumsh/Exotic Weapon Master/Frenzied Berzerker, but I think spellcasting is so much cooler for a PC. |

Yet makes it large? That's a bad combination. STR +6, DEX +2, INT -2, WIS +4 paralysis-inducing unarmed strikes and 1 or 2 secondary attacks natural armor +2 :OMG! That's... yeah. If that's a +3 level adjustment, then the half-dragon must have had some sort of nasty prank played on it. Edit: Wait... the half-minotaur is a +1? That's... that makes the half-ogre look weak, and that's saying a lot, assuming the creature type stays the same when you apply it. |
| LordShade02-16-04, 10:20 PM | This Ghul, is this the undead genie from Al-Qadim? |
| Balthanon02-16-04, 11:39 PM | The ghul is a half undead ghoul. The limitation on the number of uses per day made it slightly less interesting to me than it might otherwise have been, but it does get a respectable number of uses (1/HD). I think my favorite of all the half-undead was actually the gheden (half-zombie), which got three bonus feats and a few other nice bonuses out of its +1 level adjustment. |
