I took a quick peruse through the comprehensive gish thread, but I didnt really see a collection of spells that work best with Gish Characters.

Do you reccommend any particular spells? Or spell Lists?

FOr example, A bladesing prepared spells list, or Spellsword Spell list, etc.

Anything in the makes, or already put together?

This is why Sorcerers make better Gish. You don't have to second guess what to do.

Check out the "Best spells 4 Eldritch Knight" thread.

I know this isn't place for it and I apologize up front, but what is all this "Gish" stiff I have been hearing about on the boards as of late? I take it is a combination of warrior and wizard but where in the name of god did the name Gish come from. Sorry, I don’t mean to take over your thread but I am curious.

Another couple Gish questions.

Where is the Zhentarim Skymage found?

And where is Twilight found?

Zhent Skymage is from Lords of Darkness (Forgotten Realms book)

Twillight is from Book of Exalted Deeds

Gish is the name one type of Githyanki solider:

Githwarriors are Githyanki Barbarians, Fighters, Monks, Rangers, Rogues...

Warlocks are Psions, Sorcerers, and Wizards

Gish are Bards, Psychic Warriors, and multiclassed Githwarrior/Warlocks.

Gish include multiclassed characters with expertise in both combat roles, githwarrior and warlock. They are most commonly Fighter/Wizards, but monk/sorcerers and rogue/wizards are also gish. In addition, single-classed bards are considered gish because of their diversity of skills, blending weapon use and magical proficiency. (Likewise, if you use psionics in your game, single-classed psychic warriors are considered gish.)
