My friends and I came up with this idea to make ourselves as characters in a DnD world. We took everyone's ideas as to what our race, class, and abilities would be if we were sucked into another universe. Because of my 6'4" 200+ lbs build and my dream to be a police officer, I was put into the role of a Knight. I've never played a Knight class (featured in the PHB II) and need some ideas on a good build. I thought about going the mounted route, because they get Mounted Combat as a free feat at 2nd level. But I've played many paladins, and know that a horse is only good in certain areas. Any other ideas? Thanks!

oh, my stats are as follows....Str 16, Dex 11, Con 13, Int 10, Wis 12, Cha 14

If you decide you want to go the Mounted Combat route then Knight 2/Paladin 5/Cavalier X is pretty good.

Might not fit what you had in mind but the first thing that struck me was that an elven knight got mounted combat for free making getting into Champion of Correlion (I think thats whats its called, RotW gives dex to damage with a court blade)
