Trip Monkey Rogue
Sunder Rogue
Disarm Rogue

Take your favorite rogue, try to ensure that he has BAB 16 and then give him a chain (manriki gusari) so he can trip at range.

Give the rogue a two-handed adamantine sword for sundering

Focus on Springattack first and foremost. With some utility feats added and maybe somePrC prereqs, that should soak up all you feats (Dodge, Bobility, Spring Attack, Weapon Finesse, thats 4 feats already. maybe combat reflexes and expert tactican, maybe Quick Draw and Flick the Wrist. Blind Fight also comes handy often)

Give the rogue a reach weapon, better yet have 2 rogues with a reach weapon and have them flank a foe.

Rogues can't cut it face to face in melee - so play to their strengths.
Combat control via bolas (ranged trips, touch attack), quicker than the eye for bluff vs spot flat footedness, master thrower to load up on attacks (also has the holy grail for ranged sneak attackers - weak spot feat), archery feats (you'll need most of those for MT). If you are into the stabby-stabby thing, get a two handed weapon and spring attack (obviously try and spring into a flanking position).
Opportunist is always funny, and helps keep those pesky spell casters down (one ranged character/spell caster can be on mage disrupting duty - if they hit, you get to add your 2cp worth as well).
Reach weapon and tumble are also your friends!
I find that rogues get great milage out of even low level spells (but then I like arcane tricksters) - and the ubiquitious UMD can help in that regard. :)
Remember - rogues are tricky, so fight them that way.
