I've heard several good comments on this build. Any links for the progression?
Consider that I am creating this at level 4, but a guide to feats for future levels and such + tactics would be helpful.

Nikademus suggested this build when I was working up a similar character concept:

01) Combat expertise, improved unarmed strike(m), improved grapple(m), Impoved trip (h),
03) extend spell
06) natural spell
09) persistent spell
12) blindsight
15) free
18) free

Monk 1
Druid 1 -9
Contemplative 1 (Mysticism Domain gives Divine Favour)
Druid 10 - 18

You could also add in Jotunbrud if you can use Forgotten Realms materials.

Depending on how much stupidness you're willing to accept from the FAQ, you really don't need more than a level of monk.

That way, when you shapechange into something with a huge, but single attack, you actually get 4 of them.

I'm actually playing a 3.0 Druid character who took this route. Pretty much the same as what you're doing, but more focused on spellcasting while in wildshaped form. Using the following progression (35 point buy 1-for-1):

Race: Human
Str 8
Dex 8
Con 18
Int 18
Wis 18
Cha 13

Monk1 Spellcasting Prodigy, Track
Druid1
Druid2 Extend Spell
Druid3 +1 Wis
Druid 5 Natural Spell
Druid 7 +1 Wis
Druid 8 Create Wonderous Item
Druid 11 Magical Artistan, +1 Wis
Druid 14 Blindsight
Druid 15 +1 Wis

Yes, I'm a complete wuss until level 6, but if I survive, I'll be godlike. That Wisdom to AC bonus really helps out. I wish I was using 3.5 rules so I could get the extraordinary abilities, but we're sticking with straight 3.0, so I couldn't swing the bonuses druids get in 3.5.

I'm the "brains" for the party, so they've made me the leader in a sense. So far my wolf animal companion has done more damage than I have. Too bad the DM killed it last campaign. 4th level now, so I'll be able to get a higher HD creature once we get out of the dungeon.

Hello, tyrannosaur druids.

Hey Lago! Would you provide me with the link to the FAQ you've referenced above? It would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks! :tiphat:
