First time posting here, but I've been reading a while...

Anyways, I've got a warforged, currently going the fighter route, so far just focusing on power attack -> cleave stuff....but I want to spice him up a bit.

I can't really go a dextrous route, as he's only got a 10 in Dex...

Any thoughts on how to spice him up a bit? I have a feeling I might get bored playing a pure "hit stuff til it dies" fighter.

He's got a decent int (15), so I could potentially make him a gish, but I'm not too well versed in more complex builds.

Also, we're at 4th level...and can use material from any WotC books, anything you guys can contribute would be awesome.

try specifying. build off of your power attack and go into sundering. also, build off of your warforge/d a little bit; they have some feats to enhance his race, or the complete arcane gives spell-like abilities and mage slaying options as feats. remember,... you can always take levels in barbarian or ranger to change the feel of the char. you are playing.

without your char. specifics, that's all i can say.

Try going with Combat Expertise and Improved Trip/Disarm. Use a Halberd, and maybe even take the Spinning Halberd feat (CW) unless you're already focused/specialized in something else. Telling us your ability scores, class levels (Fighter 4?), and feats will help.

If you've taken Adamantine Body, you can go with Warforged Juggernaut, and "hit stuff til it dies." The Arcane Spell Failure of the Warforged, especially that of Adamantine Body, is very prohibitive to an arcane Gish.

If you can use the XPH, Psion may be a good path to take, probably Egoist. Then take Illithid Slayer as soon as you can. I'd recommend four levels of Elocator, but you don't have the Dex for the Spring Attack tree.

Ooh, I didn't even think of using psionics...that could work pretty well.

He's currently 4 lvls of fighter. His feats are power attack, cleave, exotic weapon prof: talenta sharaash, adamantine body. I haven't picked a new feat for fighter 4 yet...

Perhaps sundering is the way to go, especially if I can get ahold of an adamantine weapon.
