| ranger of the north11-08-05, 05:17 PM | Have a new character coming up in a campaign, and had decided to make him a ranger. I am required to make him human, and I'm fine with that. What I need is ideas on how to optimize his potential, mainly feat and skill wise. I will be following the Archery path, but if anyone has any custom paths they have made, put them up. Also, I am required to have at least 10 levels in my base class. Other than that, feel free to do what you please. Long days and pleasant nights... |

As for stats, the DM is allowing 32 point buy, and I'm planning on making Dex and Wis my primaries, with Str after that. Also, target level to build is 5 at the moment. Most important considerations are skills and feats, but mainly skills. |

Knowledge (nature) and (dungeoneering) can be viable skills. How many ranger levels do you intend to take, and what do you believe your primary party role will be? -EE |
