| Spiderman778912-21-05, 08:13 AM | Recently me and my fellow gaming group came upon a question that somewhat stupped us. We were wondering if a character has a land speed of 120 ft (ex. a 20th lvl human monk with boots of speed activated) would that character be entitled to extra damage. Two of my players say yes while the others say no. I would think that there would have to be something happen just due to the fact that he's moving really fast. Kinda like the difference between getting hit with a car at 5 mph and getting hit by a car doing 60 mph. Just wondering if anyone can help with this matter. Oh yeah I would also like to know what is the fastest a character can get in the game |

I suppose so, but you should remeber that at that level the monk's fists qualify as adimantium when it comes to breaking things. He should be alright as long as he aways runs into things fist first. :) |

| runestar12-21-05, 10:11 PM | No. Speed has nothing to do with this. Plus, your unarmed attacks are merely treated as adamantine for the purposes of overcoming dr, they aren't really balls of metal. They are still lumps of flesh and blood. |
