Okay, I was wondering what everyone thought about this new "golemficer" idea I had. I was thumbing through the Faiths and Pantheons book when I stumbled upon the Techsmith. I really love the flavor of this class and you get your own "mini" golem for free. In addition, you also get several golem related benefits (such as ANY weapon you use working like a Mace of Smiting). Did I mention that you get 10/10 spellcasting (of which, the only prerequisite is minor creation).

Perhaps, something like this would work:

Dwarven Artificer 9/Techsmith 10/Renegade Mastermaker 1

I couldn't really decide on the last level (Artificer 10 is pretty worthless) and the RM gets the awesome Battlefist (which would devastate golems and be awesome for roleplay).

Any ideas on how to make this better? I would love to keep all 10 levels of Techsmith.

The tenth level of artificier gives a +1 to saves and a +1 BAB. If you drop one level of techsmith you get metamagic spell completion.
That 10th level of techsmith is an extra +1 bab and +1 to two saves, as well as the mace of smiteing ability (plus a minor bonus to your construct), but i'd prefer to take etch schema and have metamagic spell completion.

Persisting your golem is worth the loss I say and would reccomend takeing that 11th artificier level before maxing techsmith. Infact id reccomend takeing it possibly before or immeaditally after your 1st techsmith level. The 10th level tech ability is probably not as cool as it sounds since it only works on constructs.....which your pretty capeable of dealing with as it is.
