| Brahzs M'ahnkei02-16-05, 02:32 PM | Let me give you all a little back story: I am playing in a group that is usually pretty high powered, and to in an effort to bring our new party back down to earth, our DM ruled that our new PCs only had 27 points with which to be built (we use point buy rather than rolling stats.) No problem. We have adventured a while, and my ranger has bit the Big One. I have created an elven rogue to replace him, and the rogue (whom I shall now refer to as Fast Eddie B) is at 6th level. I plan to advance him as a Master Thrower (from Complete Warrior) and finish as a Nightsong Infiltrator (from Complete Adventurer.) His feats thusfar have been more or less chosen for him to qualify for MT PrC; those being Point Blank Shot, Precise Shot & Weapon Focus. My question is: taking into account necessary feats for his continued career path, does anyone have any suggestions for possible feats that would go nicely with this character? Allowed manuals would include Core books, "Complete" books, and Eberron books. Anyone care to take a "stab"? Haha... sheesh that was bad... ;) |

Once you have that, you may want to look into Rapid Shot - getting extra attacks when you have sneak attack is a very good thing. |

Feat doesn't specify, only says "ranged weapons." I suppose any weapon that has a range increment in it's description can be considered a "ranged weapon"... Infiltrator requires Alertness, so that will have to be in there's well. I also figured that Weapon Finesse (sp?) would also come in handy, although I suppose that since the daggers are being thrown most of the time, that would be a mostly wasted feat (ie., only used in melee.) Any other ideas? |

Double the range increment for throwing weapons is a nice benefit considering throwing weapons have a small range increment. It helps to be able to throw a weapon at a target 30 feet away at a -2 penalty to hit instead of a -4 penalty. |

I'm ashamed to say it, but I didn't even look at the range increment _number_ until you mentioned this. Talk about a jumbo shrimp detail. Thanks. |
