Half-Drow Ranger of Eilistraee CG Stats:(32 pbs) str:14 dex:14 con:14 int:14 wis:12 cha:12 1st lvl feat: WF Bastard Sword Ranks in Skills: Climb: 4 Hide: 4 Jump: 4 Knowledge (Nature): 4 Listen: 4 Move Silently: 4 Spot: 4 Survival: 4 Studded Leather Armor, Bastard Sword, no gold. My DM agreed that my character was not likely to use TWF or Archery, though the second could be useful at times. I am basically asking if you have any ideas for a new combat style to equal either. My thoughts were Expertise, Improved Trip, Improved Disarm or Dodge, Mobility, Spring Attack Any ideas on other Styles.
Neonsamurai 10-29-03, 09:18 AM	I'd go the archery route and get the feat "extra favored enemy" as many times as possible. You can find the feat in Masters of the Wild. Another stat array i suggest is : STR16 DEX16 CON12 INT 10 WIS14 CHA8 You should not get in melee too often with this array, however since you're going the archery route anyway this shouldn't be the case if you play the character a bit cleverly. Now just get a bow of hunting (also in MoW) and you will become a hunter par excellence :D

Funny Slaughter 10-29-03, 12:42 PM	I don't know, getting a sunblade and TWF is pretty sweet.. starting with WF(bastard sword) is the wrong way then. dont you need EWP to use it one-handed? i like the ranged archer better, but anyhow, i dont like tanks in general, if you want to exchange full-rounds on the frontline i think a ranger is the wrong way to do it. gs Funny
Arthalus The White 10-29-03, 06:17 PM	Thanks for the suggestion guys, but you seem to be missing the fact that I have already started playing. I was wondering about New Combat styles that might benifit the 2handed wielding weapon, as well as potential feats from now on.
