This character was inspired, ironically, byt the Sun School Tactical Feat in CW. I decided Abundant Step was a poor way to use the tactical maneuver Flash of Sunset, so I began looking for alternatives the Monk would have easy access to. That's when I saw my old friend, the Shadowdancer, which had shadow jump. I immediatly lept at the opportunity to make a Monk/Shadowdancer that makes optimal use of the Sun School maneuvers. Naturally, this means getting the most out of shadow jump, flurry of blows, and stunning fist attacks. The problem is, I'm not sure which feats would be best toward this end. Also, I'm not sure when I should start from Monk to Shadowdancer level-wise.

Telflammar Shadowlord has a version of Shadow Jump, and a better version of Flash of Sunset called Shadow Pounce- you can use a full attack after any teleportation effect, as well as a Death Attack some, arcane spells, and Shadow Discorporation to help you evade death. Works best with the Shadow Walker template that gives you dimension door as a spell-like.

Also, Qaetar made an Aasimar Death Monk that uses Flash of Sunset to kill everything in sight; check for it in the Optimization Library (see sig).
