I was trying to get a character who by level 20 had the capability to cast level 9 spells and level 9 power.

Ha ha ha you say what an easy challenge.

Here is whats giving me fits.

10 levels of planeshifter(MotP)

Rather than going for a power build i wanted something unique.

I wanted to build a character that could manifest/cast/create all three forms of genesis.

The closest i could get was.

Something like

4Wiz/4psion/Cerebramancer2/Planeshifter10 = 13wiz 13 psion Horribly shy in each level 4 below what i needed.

1 Wiz/ 1 Psion/ 8 Cerebramancer/ planeshifter 10 = 9psion 16wiz.

This is by using prec.App. and DH's level drain trick, and opperates of the assumption that you can get a dm to agree that +1 existing level from planeshifter to apply to cerebramancers dual level boost.

I really hate resorting to comming here for help, since i much rather prefer to do this myself, however building multiple caster and such builds are not my forte.

12-07-05, 12:28 AM +1 to Planeshifter can never apply to cerebremancer.

However, there is a Dragon PrC called Mind Mage that might do what you're looking for. It does weird stunts with your caster/manifester level.

Untrue, actually.

If this does what I think it does, then you have your solution.

It is possible, last I checked, to get 9th level powers and 9th level arcane spells, though I forget exactly how (probably through Precocious Apprentice -- recall it works with Cerebremancer).

I don't have the books with me to confirm, but wouldn't Forgotten Realms' Arcane Disicple feat grant you access to one domain? Including Creation?

12-07-05, 01:14 AM You could always be a psion / beholder mage / cerebmancer - but this requires a scroll of polymorph any object and you have to be a beholder...and hope no one MDJ's ya.

I believe the creation domain was updated in 3.5 in the complete divine, where the genesis spell was replaced with the Pavilion of Grandeur. I looked into this but the complete divine irritatingly enough again quashed my hopes.

CREATION DOMAIN
Granted Power: Cast conjuration (creation) spells at +2 caster level. (Those with access to both the Artifice and Creation domains cast conjuration (creation) spells at +3 caster level.)
Creation Domain Spells
1 Create water
2 Minor image
3 Create food and water
4 Minor creation
5 Major creation
6 Heroes’ feast
7 Permanent image
8 True creation
9 Genesis

In the Srd it has Genesis listed as a domain spell for the creation domain.

However divine Genesis has clearly been removed from the game through the complete divine. And a quick check of the file would probably tell us that it hasn't benn updated in quite a while.

In addition to that i probably won't be updated because the Complete diving isn't ogm that could be use to update the srd.

So it depends on what you can slip by the dm.

If you do manage to slip it by the dm and use the 3.0 domain. wiz 10/planeshifter10 makes it possible to cast genesis arcane/divine/class. but using the 3.5 domain you can't get that. Even so getting the psionic version into that is difficult if not impossible since there is no way to "fast track" psionics.
