A middle aged character gets +1 to Int, Wis, and Cha and -1 to Str, Dex, and Con. This works exceptionally well if all of your scores are ODD - you lose NOTHING in the way of bonuses on your physical attribute bonuses, but will bump all of your mental attribute bonuses up by one. I'm sure some of you have already thought of it, but to those who haven't - enjoy! |

| Funny Slaughter02-27-04, 05:11 AM | it is indeed a quite common idea, it does not get discussed very often because it is, at least from a part of the community, considered cheating. it is within the rules and you are right about the benefits you get but its also a very secure way to annoy your DM. if you play "anything goes" it may be fine, if you have to sneak any part with a min/max-smell behind him you can as well start another character... gs Funny |
