Rogue16 / Fighter2 / SoldierofLight1 / KnightMiddleCircle1

Go Wild Eld (from the FRCS book) to get the Fighter as your favoured class. You are NG in aligment, with a high DEX and CHA. You are fun-loving, a rakish ladies man, a master bluffer & charlatan, and capable of sneak attacking to death a Balor in 1 round.

Soldier of Light takes advantage of that sky-high Charisma of yours. Now you can turn, which means you can get the Divine Might feat to add to your TWF *7* attacks in this build.

Knight of the Middle Circle gives you Combat Sense +2, ergo, no more TWF penalty of -2. You also have the Blindfight feat, which every sensible Rogue should have anyway.

BAB +16 (7 attacks with Greater TWF Feat)
+8d6 SA
3 Rogue Special Abilities

Fight with Short Swords or Elven Lightblades (for style points).

Let me ask you this.

What if I wanted to add an arcane spellcasting class into it? What would you do?

Sounds like you want to max out the Bluff skill, then take Combat Expertise, Improved Feint, Two Weapon Fighting, Improved Two Weapon Fighting, Greater Two Weapon Fighting, and probably Weapon Finesse. Um, are you going to be level 15? Persuasive is a 3.5 feat that gives you +2 on Bluff and Intimidate. 5 ranks in Bluff gives you a +2 synergy bonus to Diplomacy, Disguise, Intimidate, Perform (acting), and Sleight of Hand skill checks. Yeah, it's kind of useful.

Oh yeah, if you want to add levels of bard, sorcerer, or wizard, check out the Arcane Trickster PrC. It has full spellcasting and sneak attack progression, plus cool things like Ranged Legerdemain (DD, OL, and SoH at a range of 30 feet [ I think. ]) and Impromptu Sneak Attack (sneak attack once or twice a day when you'd usually be unable to).

Bard7 / Assassin3 / ArcaneTrickster10

1. BAB +12
2. 6th Level Bard Spells - 17 Spellcasting Levels
3. 1st Level Assassin Spells - 3 Spellcasting Levels
4. +7d6 SA
5. Fights TWF style with finessed Claw Bracers (EWP Feat)
6. Blades are coated with Assassin Poison (you can't poison yourself)
7. 7 Levels of Bard Lore & Bard Music (including the all-important Fascinate/Suggest).

**

Again, you are still very persuasive & devilishly handsome, but your predilection for being "fun-loving" entails a little evil. Be sure to take Craft: Alchemy to make deadly poisons for your Claw Bracers. All your stealthy skills are maxed out. And you have 13 skill ranks of UMD if you so desire - crank that up with a skill-boosting magical device or via the awesome Improvisation spell.

The Bracer Claws allow you to continue to cast spells *with* somatic components while still staying armed and capable of using either BRacer Claw for AoO's. You also cannot be disarmed at all.

Bad things about the trickster? I doubt you're hearing them around here. It's one of the most popular and potent PrCs, and is used in many C/O builds. What are you hearing?

The worst thing that can be said about it is that it takes a while to pay off. The levels preceding AT, especially the Wizard variety, can be problematic for some players. But do a search on this board for Trickster; there are several long threads containing much advice.

The PrC doesn't exactly lend itself to TWF, however. It's quite fragile to mess around with full-attacks in melee. Plus you need a hand free for somatic spells, which is why Snow's Bard AT (which also has better HP and BAB than a Wiz/Sor AT) makes a point of the Claw Bracer.

Bad? Anything but that. Nobody on this forum will agree that the AT is a bad PrC. It's not broken at all either ... it's just a top-tier PrC in regards to game mechanics, structure, and versatility.

Care to elucidate on why you think it's bad?
