08-01-05, 08:40 PM Well, you lose Imbue Item and Decieve Item, 2 very important abilities of the class. If you do this, you're better off with the VoP Sorcerer.

One more thing: you could always take the Blood Magus class to inflict Hp damage on yourself instead of having an expensive material component. This has the added RP value of self-sacrifice.

08-02-05, 01:28 AM I was horrified at the thought of The Sand Shaper PrC (Sandstorm) with VoP. They can make objects out of plain sand! (It wouldn't invalidate VoP)

My really scary thought was of a VoP Ghost. (Get it -- scared...ghost).

Anyway, if you want to be a VoP spellcaster that's not a Druid, you could always go for Psion. I find their abilities suit VoP pretty well.
