What do you mean by "items"? In 3.5, weapon finesse applies to all weapons.

Ummm.... what exactly do you mean?

Weapon Finesse the feat already works on all light weapons and certain special one- and two-handed weapons.

When you say "all items" are you talking about improvised weapons or something?

Or are you looking for other ways to use your dex bonus (http://boards1.wizards.com/showpost.php?p=4584975) in combat? Several of those might be up your alley.

The only thing i can think of that would grant something similar to that, is the void disciple's void release, but i doubt thats what you had in mind.

Champion of Correlon Latheran's (sp?) Elegant Strike ability lets you add DEX to damage. Swashbuckler/Rogue/CoCL builds can be viable melee types with shockingly low STR.

Weapon Finesse is the ONLY known thing that replaces Strength with Dexterity on attack rolls (although a few races explicitly say they do as well, none are player races).

However, there's a sneaky trick you can use to get around it.

Graft Weapon (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/psionic/powers/graftWeapon.htm) turns any weapon you hold into a natural weapon. Natural weapons are always treated as light weapons. Any light weapon is subject to your Weapon Finesse feat.

There you go. Your solution, though it is power-dependent.

ok how do you get that ability? also the reason why i am asking this is because of an epic level scout my friend is using

ok this sounds good, could permenacy be casted on this

ummm sorry but im a nube, what is that? The spelling is technically "newb" (or if you want to get more disrespectful, "noob"), but Void Release is the niftiest ability of the Void Disciple Prestige Class in Complete Divine. It lets you use your highest ability modifier in place of a lower one, a few times a day.

ok how do you get that ability? also the reason why i am asking this is because of an epic level scout my friend is usingHe's referring to the Champion of Corellon Larethian prestige class open to elves. (Races of the Wild.)

And if your friend is playing an epic level scout, he should know various ways of boosting his damage on his own. I mean, you don't just jump into epic play without knowing your game, right?

1) "Cast" is the past tense and past participle of "to cast." Regardless of how you intended that statement, "casted" should not have been in it. (I'm focusing only on spelling here; I could go worse on capitalization or punctuation.)

2) No, and neither could it be made Incarnate (the psionic equivalent).

3) You didn't read the description. Note how it lasts 24 hours? Make an item that uses it once per day, and guard it against dispels.

nube was originally "newby", but then it got lessened to "newb", then to "noob", and then to "n00b", those last three are still in use today, so i went ahead and made my own version, "nube"

actually she is too apathetic to really care and she only had three other campaigns before she started the epic level one ^^

when i dont type for anything important, i dont use punctuation

i do not see what is the matter with my usage of "casted"

yes, i did read it, i do not wish to have an item that uses it once per day i just wanted it to be permanent

If she's too apathetic to care, CharOpt is irrelavant for her.

i do not see what is the matter with my usage of "casted"
Odd, since Tempest explained why, in English, it's incorrect.

since she is a member of my party i wish for her to be at her fighting best

there are many types of english, just because i am using one you are not familiar with doesnt mean i am wrong

Please, then site your source that lists 'casted' as a legitimate, English word used as you have thus far. Otherwise, yes, it does make it wrong. That's the way language works.

I dare you to ask an English professor there if "casted" is a proper English word, and if its use in your sentence was proper.

By the way, it was spelled "newbie" originally.

Anyway, back on topic, Graft Weapon already lasts 24 hours. You do not need to persist it or make it permanant -- particularily since it denies you the use of your hand, which is likely your good hand.

Still, you could simply ask an artificer to develop an item for you like this one:

Gauntlet of Martial Oneness
This is a lone gauntlet that adjusts itself to fit either hand, and has a large violet gem on the back of the hand. When weilding a melee weapon that you can use with one hand in the same hand that the gauntlet is on, the wearer may merge the weapon with his body with a command thought. Treat this in all ways as an at-will version of Graft Weapon. The same command thought may be used to reverse the fusion at any time.
Aura: Moderate Psychometabolism. Prerequisites: Graft Weapon, Craft Universal Item. Manifester level: X (minimum 7). Market Price: X*6000 (minimum 42000) GP.

Just set X to any number equal to or greater than 7 -- remember that while higher costs more, it becomes that much harder to dispel.

already did in class today, he says it is in the APAA english standard or whatever and anyways it doesnt matter......

i did not want it to last for only 24 hours and then recast it after that, how many times must i repeat this

do you mean artifician?

i did not want it to last for only 24 hours and then recast it after that, how many times must i repeat thisDude, that's essentially the best you can get. Just turn it off overnight -- or will this scout literally be fighting constantly in her sleep? It STILL takes you less time to use that item than it takes wizards to ready their spells in the morning.

do you mean artifician? No, Artificer. Look it up.

I didn't necessarily mean someone of the Artificer class, although a psionic artificer could pull it off. Give me a sec to add prerequisites.
